Cocobana Beach Resort was opened in December 1992 as the first Resort on Malapascua Island. The name Cocobana was inspired by the four words Corals, Coconuts, Bananas and Cabanas. The Resort is located right at the snow-white Bounty Beach. Cocobana Beach Resort is jointly operated by Swiss and Philippine management.

The cottages we call good sea view are located 30 m from the sea.
In April 2008 all the cottages and buildings on Malapascua Island, which were built too close to the beach,
were demolished by the philippine government. The demolishing work is finish and everything is now back
to normal in Cocobana Beach Resort. The 4 cottages we call limited sea view are located on the side of the resort and smaller than the others and offer space for maximum 2 persons. All the other cottages and rooms offer sufficient space for maximum 4 persons. |
