| The official currency on the Philippines is the Peso. Changing currency
on Malapascua is no longer a problem. Cocobana Beach Resort, for example,
accepts most common currencies traveler checks as well as cash. Preferred
form of payment is cash in Swiss Francs, Euros or US Dollars. The exchange rate
for the Philippine Peso usually fluctuates a lot over time: 1 Swiss Franc equals about 44 Pesos, 1 Euro about 65 Pesos and 1 USD about 44 Pesos. This is just to give you a rough idea of the exchange rate. For the daily rates please check oanda.com
